As California goes, so goes the nation
California and other Democrat controlled areas are amazing symbolic microcosms of what happens under any socialist government. The state’s selfish attack on producers of goods and services causes them to stop producing and often just going somewhere else where their efforts are appreciated. In a nationwide version, laws are eventually passed making it a crime to even leave — under threat of harm. They basically enslave the entire population, ration out poverty and concoct stories about how horrible things were before the socialists established utopia.
